Background

About Dr Khan

Dr Kamal Khan is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over twenty years of specialist cardiac practice. He has a particular focus on percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) — commonly known as coronary stenting — and has recently been accredited in intra-coronary imaging by the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society (BCIS), a distinction awarded to a small number of consultants nationally.

Dr Khan trained and worked across leading NHS and independent centres throughout the North West of England. Alongside his private practice, he serves as Clinical Director for Cardiology at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest NHS organisations in the country.

His private practice covers the full spectrum of adult cardiology — from initial assessment and diagnostics through to interventional procedures and long-term management. He sees self-funded and insured patients, and does not require a GP referral for a private consultation.
